The Women's Fund of New Hampshire

	April, 2009 Ten years ago, the vision and dedication of Molly Scheu and Barbara Zeckhausen resulted in forty-two women and men becoming the Founders of the Women’s Fund. On April 4th at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, our 10th Anniversary Dinner event honored the founders, supporters, and partners who made the Women’s Fund’s first ten years a success. 	November, 2008 Recipe for Change – Our Recipe for Change Live Silent Auction was held on November 18, 2008 at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH. It was a wonderful evening featuring great food, drinks, friends working for a great cause, and a fabulous silent as well as live auction. Our marvelous auctioneer, Kathy Kingston inspired us all, and the proceeds went directly to benefiting the women and girls of New Hampshire! View slideshow of event.

	November, 2008 The Women Building Community Luncheon was held on November 21, 2008, at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH. Over 300 women and men joined the Women's Fund of NH, The United Ways of NH and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to enjoy a delicious lunch, and welcome keynote speaker Linda Wertheimer, Senior National Correspondent for National Public Radio (NPR) News. Ms. Wertheimer regaled us with her stories from years of political reporting. 	September, 2006 Recipe for Change – A Soiree to Benefit New Hampshire Women and Girls took place at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord on September 21, 2006. It attracted a diverse audience of women and men from communities throughout New Hampshire and featured both live and silent auctions, delicious food and live jazz. Nearly 400 donors and attendees contributed to the success of this event, which raised over $30,000 to benefit the Women’s Fund of New Hampshire! View slideshow of event.

	June, 2005 On June 9, 2005, the first collaborative project of WFNH, United Ways of NH, and the NH Charitable Foundation was held: “Women Building Community: Taking Action with our Time, Talent and Treasure.” Zainab Salbi, founder and CEO of Women for Women International, was the the keynote speaker. The purpose of this collaborative event was to illuminate the power of women in our communities, recognizing the work of women at all levels of community building, to inspire greater, deeper and more satisfying participation in our collective activities to ensure the communities of the Granite State thrive. 	September, 2005 Recipe for Change – A Soiree to Benefit New Hampshire Women and Girls took place at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord in September, 2005. It attracted a diverse audience of women and men, including Governor John Lynch and First Lady Dr. Susan Lynch. Nearly 400 donors and attendees contributed to the success of this event, which raised over $33,900 to benefit the Women’s Fund of New Hampshire! View slideshow of event.
