5)  GENERAL INFORMATION

Consecutive-Year Funding

WFNH seeks proposals for funding on a year-to-year basis. Proposals must be submitted each time a grant is requested and previous funding does not guarantee continued funding. In an effort to make resources available to new organizations applying to WFNH, we request that organizations that have received funding from WFNH for three consecutive years, beginning in 2004, abstain from applying for funding for one year, after which an organization may again apply for funding. This policy is not retroactive, and will not affect any grant applicants until 2007.

EXAMPLE – Really Great Non-profit (RGN) has received funding prior to their 2004 application to WFNH for a few years. RGN is awarded a grant in 2004. When they apply again in 2005 and 2006, they are again awarded a grant. Since RGN has received a grant from WFNH for three consecutive years since 2004, RGN is asked in 2007 to refrain from submitting an application, but may submit again in 2008.
